Amazon Storyteller is back, the first literary prize in Italy that allows aspiring writers and established authors to highlight their unpublished stories and readers to discover new literary productions both fiction and non-fiction. To announce the second edition of the award is Amazon on its website.
Until August 31, the authors will have the opportunity to submit their application to the initiative and publish their new and exclusive texts in a simple, fast and free way, in print and digital format, through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.
The winner of Amazon Storyteller 2021 will be announced in November. The jury is made up of journalists, intellectuals and authors such as Salvino Muscarello, winner of the 2020 edition with ‘The Invisible Current’, Alessia Rastelli of Corriere della Sera, Marinella Zetti, independent journalist, Amabile Giusti, author, and Mariangela Marseglia, VP and Country Manager of Amazon.it and Amazon.es.
Relying on the judgment of the jury, also for this second edition Amazon Media EU S.à r.l. will award the prize: the winner will receive a cash reward of 5,000 euros and will be able to benefit from a marketing campaign to promote their book on Amazon.it. In addition, the winning book will have the opportunity to be published for free in audio format by Audible.
A Kindle Oasis e-reader will be reserved for all the other finalists. “After the success of the first edition of Amazon Storyteller, we want to continue to encourage and support the world of writing and reading because their value is immeasurable. This project allows us to bring out new talents capable of telling the world from different perspectives, and to make us meet new characters and plots that without this opportunity perhaps would never see the light. For this reason we are thrilled to launch this challenge again this year “said Mouncif Faqir, Head of Books Category for Europe.
